UPS ONCE AGAIN LAUNCHES

OFF TO THE RACES SWEEPSTAKES

ATLANTA, Feb. 29, 2008  UPS (NYSE:UPS) today announced the return of the Off to the Races Delivered by UPS sweepstakes and paint scheme program, which meshes the company's NASCAR sponsorships with its association with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby.

The UPS sweepstakes takes place from today to April 10 and awards one lucky winner and a guest a trip to the Aarons 499 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 27 in Talladega, Ala.  The winner will take in the 500-mile race and also enjoy a special behind-the-scenes meeting with David Reutimann, who will be driving the #44 UPS Toyota Camry during the race weekend.

One week later, the sweepstakes winner will travel to the historic Churchill Downs in Louisville for the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby on May 3.

UPS is honored to have associations with Churchill Downs and a prestigious event like the Kentucky Derby, said Ron Rogowski, director of sponsorships for UPS. It's exciting for us to create a link between our NASCAR racing and horse sponsorships.  And since the 2007 sweepstakes attracted more than 12,000 entries, it was an easy decision to continue the effort in 2008.

Reutimann will appear at Churchill Downs on Wednesday, April 30, as part of the sweepstakes program.  He will be joined by his car owner Michael Waltrip and teammate Dale Jarrett for the festivities that will take place during the day, including a race sponsored by UPS.  All three drivers will participate in the trophy presentation as well as an autograph session.  Later in the day, Jarrett will participate in the ESPN broadcast of the annual Kentucky Derby post position draw that takes place in downtown Louisville.

It's exciting for me to be a part of something as big as the Kentucky Derby, Reutimann said.  I've never been to Churchill Downs and I'm really looking forward to this.  That place has a lot of history and as far as events go, the Kentucky Derby is among the greatest in sports.

Like his father and grandfather before him, David Reutimann grew up racing in Zephryhills. For him, getting behind the wheel of a race car was natural, but it took time for him to earn the spot he has today.
